CLIP ON TYPE
Vinyl Tonneau Covers that clip onto an Aluminium framework. The framework is fastened onto the loadbin of the vehicle, and usually avoids the need for drilling.
Note: While the function of a Tonneau Cover is to help protect the load bin contents from excessive exposure to the elements, one cannot attain a waterproof seal. By fitting a Tonneau Cover, the aerodynamics of the load bin is improved and an improvement in economy can be attained
ROPE TYPE
Vinyl Tonneau Covers are tailor made to suit the vehicle, fastened down by means of an elasticated cord.
This is done by utilising the hooks on the vehicle or by means of fitting additional hardware as required.
Drilling is usually required and treatment for rust prevention is done by means of applying Tectyl to the drilled holes prior to fastening the required hardware by means of aluminium rivits or stainless steel screws.
